Christine E. Webber Receives the Washington Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs’ Roderic V.O. Boggs Award

Christine E. Webber, a partner in our Civil Rights & Employment Litigation practice is the recipient of the Roderic V.O. Boggs award for her sustained commitment to the Washington Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs.

When Ms. Webber began her legal practice, she was a Women’s Law & Public Policy Fellow at the Washington Lawyers’ Committee’ Equal Employment Opportunity Project. There, she worked on employment discrimination cases, including the sexual harassment class action Neal v. Director, D.C. Department of Corrections, et al.  Ms. Webber participated in the trial of this groundbreaking sexual harassment class action in 1995.  

The award will be presented to Ms. Webber at the Washington Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs annual Wiley A. Branton Awards Luncheon at the JW Marriott in Washington, D.C.
