Kaiser Permanente Retirement Plan Investigation

Status Investigation

Overview

The Kaiser Permanente Retirement Plan uses outdated mortality tables to determine the value of early retirees’ monthly pension payments, publicly filed documents show. As a result, it may have underpaid pension benefits to employees who retired before age 65. Our law firm is investigating whether these practices violated the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA).
