Joe Sellers Examines Rule 23’s Impact on Employment Class Actions

Joseph Sellers, founder and co-chair of the Civil Rights and Employment practice, has been invited to speak at the National Employment Lawyers Association at the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel in New Orleans, Louisiana from June 24-27th, 2026.   

Joe’s session, Employment Class Actions After Trump v. Casa, will be held on Thursday June 25th at 11:15 am CST. 

Joe’s session will examine how courts are applying Rule 23 requirements following the Supreme Court’s decision in Trump vs. Casa. 

Joe and the panelists will explore the ruling’s impact on wage and hour cases, Title VII pattern-and-practice claims, and other employment class actions. They’ll discuss how lower courts are interpreting Casa, what it means for future class strategies, and how plaintiffs’ counsel can adapt to continue securing justice for groups of workers facing shared harms.
