Grace Choi is an associate in Cohen Milstein’s Antitrust practice, where she represents a broad range of individuals and businesses in civil litigation, with a focus on multi-district class actions and antitrust litigation.
Prior to joining Cohen Milstein, Grace was a law clerk for the Honorable Tiffany M. Cartwright of the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington. Grace previously worked as a legal extern for the California Attorney General’s Office and the Supreme Court of California.
During her time at Berkeley Law, Grace was a fellow at the Berkeley Center for Consumer Law & Economic Justice.

In re Visa Debit Card Antitrust Litigation
In re Visa Debit Card Antitrust Litigation (S.D.N.Y.): Cohen Milstein, as interim co-lead counsel, represents merchants who accept Visa debit cards. Plaintiffs allege that Visa leverages its dominant position in the debit transaction network market by requiring volume commitments with merchants and banks and by inducing potential competitors not to develop or support competing payment products. Plaintiffs claim that these schemes stifle innovation, thwart competition and allow Visa to charge merchants supracompetitive fees.
Nielsen v. TVision Antitrust Counterclaim Litigation
Nielsen v. TVision (D. Del.): Cohen Milstein represents TVision Insights Inc., a pioneering TV data and analytics company, in an antitrust counterclaim against Nielsen for, among other things, allegedly filing baseless patent infringement lawsuits against potential competitors to assert its dominance in the TV audience measurement services in the United States.
Boston Bombing Mass Action
Abbott, et al. v. Islamic Republic of Iran (D.D.C.): Cohen Milstein represents Boston Marathon participants and attendees in a catastrophic injury and wrongful death mass action against the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Iranian Ministry of Intelligence and Security for their role in the April 15, 2013 Boston Marathon bombing and related acts of terrorism that followed in and around Boston, Massachusetts. The bombing, which killed three and injured several hundred others, was the largest terrorist attack on U.S. soil since September 11, 2001. Plaintiffs seek relief against the defendants through a nonjury civil action under the State Sponsored Terrorism Exception to the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act and the Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism Act in connection with an act of international terrorism that occurred in the United States.
