Malik Jarvis is a fellow in Cohen Milstein’s Fellowship Program. In this role, he works on litigation matters spanning the firm’s antitrust, consumer protection, civil rights and employment litigation, human rights, and securities practice groups.
Prior to joining the firm, Malik was a Skadden Fellow for the Project on Predatory Student Lending, where he led advocacy and litigation on student lending issues, including Parent PLUS loan reform, borrower counseling, class action student loan cases, and public policy strategy.
While attending law school, Malik was an articles editor for the Journal of Legislation & Public Policy and the academic co-chair of the Black Allied Law Student Association. Malik also completed several internships focusing on consumer protection and worker rights with the New York State Office of the Attorney General for the Bureau of Consumer Frauds & Protection, the Legal Aid Society, and the Brennan Center for Public Policy at NYU School of Law.
