Law360 has named Cohen Milstein’s Daniel H. Silverman and Molly J. Bowen to its 2022 list of “Rising Stars.” The annual list of Rising Stars recognizes lawyers under the age of 40 whose professional accomplishments transcend their age. A team of Law360 editors selected this year’s winners after reviewing more than 1,300 submissions.
- Daniel H. Silverman, Partner, Antitrust. Mr. Silverman is highly regarded by the legal industry, economists, and academics alike for his deep engagement with economic experts and for successfully shepherding cases through class certification. Mr. Silverman plays a leadership role in a number of cases, including In re Broiler Chicken Antitrust Litigation (N.D. Ill.), which in December 2021, received final court approval of more than $181 million in settlements, as well as in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Antitrust Litigation (D. Nev.), in which he led the direct and cross examination of two economic experts at a seven-day evidentiary hearing, resulting in the judge stating he would likely grant class certification.
- Molly J. Bowen, Associate, Securities Litigation & Investor Protection. Ms. Bowen manages some of the most groundbreaking plaintiff-side securities class actions and shareholder derivative actions in the United States. She has a leading role in both In re Alphabet Shareholder Derivative Litigation and Pinterest Stockholder Derivative Action – novel lawsuits holding corporate boards of directors accountable for systemic workplace discrimination, harassment, and related retaliation. Inspired by the #MeToo movement, these cases have achieved industry-changing results.
