The American Antitrust Institute (AAI) honored two Cohen Milstein attorneys at its 2026 Antitrust Enforcement Awards on November 5, 2026.
Sharon Robertson, a partner in our Antitrust practice, received the Hollis Salzman Memorial Leadership Award, presented jointly by AAI and COSAL. Named in honor of one of the nation’s leading antitrust attorneys, the award recognizes female leaders who exemplify integrity, collegiality, and excellence within the antitrust plaintiffs’ bar. It also recognizes those who have advanced opportunities for women and attorneys from underrepresented groups through leadership, mentorship, and service.
Aaron Marks, an associate in the firm’s Antitrust practice, received AAI’s Outstanding Antitrust Litigation Achievement by a Young or Newly Admitted Lawyer Award for his work in GEHA v. Actelion Pharmaceuticals, one of the most significant pharmaceutical antitrust class actions in recent years.
GEHA, addressed a monopolistic scheme perpetuated by Actelion involving its branded drug Tracleer, a life-extending medication used to treat pulmonary artery hypertension (PAH). It, resulted in a $65 million settlement, exceeding 50% of estimated damages, and helped establish important legal precedent and clarified key areas of antitrust law that will help strengthen private antitrust enforcement in the future.
Aaron played a critical role throughout the case, including leading discovery efforts, identifying and prosecuting a significant spoliation issue, and helping secure victories at the class certification and summary judgment stages.
