PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. –Theodore J. Leopold, Managing Partner of Leopold Law, P.A., will be presenting at a CME - CLE Lecture for Lawyers and Physicians hosted by the South Florida Center for Jewish Ethics this week. Leopold will serve on an expert panel assembled to discuss “Medical Malpractice in Jewish and American Law.” The presentation will be held at The Miami Beach JCC on Wednesday, January 15, 2014.
The panel is organized through the joint sponsorship of The Dade County Medical Association and The Center for Jewish Ethics. The educational objectives of the presentation include describing the legal issues of medical malpractice and differentiating between the secular and Jewish view on these issues.
Leopold has tried cases throughout the country and has recovered multi-million dollar verdicts, including jury verdicts in the eight-figure and nine-figure amounts. His practice is grounded in representing individuals who have suffered egregious harm due to the negligence and misconduct of others.
Leopold is current President of Public Justice Foundation, a national organization that fights for justice through precedent-setting and socially significant individual and class action litigation. His work has been featured in the National Law Journal’s Top Cases of the year and he was nominated for “Trial Lawyer of the Year” for his ground breaking litigation involving the managed care industry. Mr. Leopold lectures nationally to Bar and Professional Trial Associations on such issues as catastrophic injury, product liability, class action litigation, trial tactics and consumer justice issues.
