Harvard Law School’s Plaintiffs’ Law Association has invited Cohen Milstein’s Betsy A. Miller (HLS ’99), chair of our Public Client practice; Laura H. Posner (HLS ‘04), a partner in our Securities Litigation & Investor Protection practice; and Ryan Wheeler (HLS ’19), an associate in our Employee Benefits/ERISA practice to speak to Harvard Law students and alumni about applying public interest law in private practice at Harvard Law School’s Wasserstein Hall, Room 2004 on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at 12:30 p.m.
The Cohen Milstein attorneys will discuss the firm’s diverse plaintiff litigation practice and the high-profile and cutting-edge litigation, in which the firm is currently involved to hold corporations (and industry) accountable to their constituents and help shape the legal landscape, including litigation involving the national opioids crisis, the Flint water crisis, wage suppression collusion, #MeToo claims and shareholder activism, workplace discrimination, and human rights violations by the oil industry.
