Kalpana Kotagal to Speak at Seed&Spark’s “Creative Sustainability Sessions”

Kalpana Kotagal has been invited to speak at Seed&Spark’s “Creative Sustainability Session: Inclusion Riders” on July 9, 2021 at 3:00 p.m.

Ms. Kotagal and her Inclusion Rider co-authors, Fanshen Cox, Amity Paye, and Tasmin Plater will discuss what an inclusion rider is – in simple terms, a legal language that filmmakers (like actors and producers) can embed in their production contracts, guaranteeing the project achieves a certain level of diversity, in front of and behind the camera; as well as how Inclusion Riders work and how they can be a powerful tool in combatting Hollywood’s lack of diversity.
