Kalpana Kotagal to Speak at Green Builder Media’s 4th Annual Sustainability Symposium 2020

Kalpana Kotagal will speak at the 2020 Sustainability Symposium: Improving the Human Condition event on January 20, 2020 at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas.

Ms. Kotagal is a Civil Rights & Employment Litigation Partner at Cohen Milstein. She is also the co-author of the Inclusion Rider, referenced by Oscar-winning actress Frances McDormand in her 2018 Best Actress acceptance speech.  A highly-accomplished and award-winning plaintiffs’ lawyer, Ms. Kotagal is a champion of equity, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace and was featured in the highly-acclaimed 2019 documentary This Changes Everything, produced by Geena Davis.

The event, held on Martin Luther King Day, will explore the nexus between sustainability and social equity; the impact of our changing climate on economic stability; and the resulting effects on national and international markets.
