Kalpana Kotagal Invited to Speak at ABA’s 2021 Virtual Litigation Section Annual Conference

Kalpana Kotagal, a Partner in Cohen Milstein’s Civil Rights & Employment practice, was invited to speak at the ABA’s 2021 Virtual Litigation Section Annual Conference, May 5 – 7, 2021.

Ms. Kotagal’s breakout session, “Seven Wonders of the Class Action World: The Supreme Court Is Changing the Landscape,” will address how the U.S. Supreme Court has been exceptionally interested in class actions over the past several years. Specifically, the panel will address the Court's rationale for its recent pronouncements regarding standing, tolling, the analysis required to certify a class action, and what it means for common issues to predominate.
