A former Florida A&M University student is suing university trustees, saying she was raped three times but none of the incidents were fully investigated.
Attorneys representing the woman filed suit Tuesday in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida in Tallahassee. She is seeking a jury trial.
The former student, identified as S.B. in the suit, says the incidents occurred between October 2012 and December 2013. She finally withdrew from FAMU in 2014 to study elsewhere.
The former student is represented by Cohen Milstein Sellers & Toll PLLC.
