PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. –Theodore J. Leopold, managing partner in the consumer justice law firm of Leopold Law, P.A., has been unanimously elected to the office of President for Public Justice Foundation.
Public Justice, a national organization headquartered in Washington, D.C., fights for justice through precedent-setting and socially significant individual and class action litigation. Their mission is to combat threats to the justice system and inspire lawyers and others to serve the public interest. In business for over 30 years, the organization has assembled a nationwide network of 3,500 attorneys dedicated to upholding its vision of building America's public interest law firm.
Mr. Leopold specializes in consumer justice litigation with a focus on complex products liability, managed care, catastrophic injury and class action litigation. His work has been featured in the National Law Journal’s Top Cases of the year and he was nominated for “Trial Lawyer of the Year” by the Public Justice Foundation for his ground breaking litigation involving the managed care industry. Mr. Leopold lectures nationally to Bar and Professional Trial Associations throughout the country and has been profiled in The Best Lawyers in America consecutively since 2005.
Mr. Leopold is also the author and co-author of several legal publications including Florida Insurance Law and Practice, an annual publication by Thomson/West. Additionally, Mr. Leopold has earned the Florida Bar Civil Trial Certification, which is the highest level of recognition by the Florida Bar for competency and experience within civil trial law. He is a member of The Florida Bar, United States District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida, Florida Justice Association, Palm Beach County Justice Association, The American Board of Trial Advocates and The American Association for Justice.
