Cohen Milstein's Daniel S. Sommers has been invited to speak on a distinguished panel at the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Business Law Section Fall Meeting 2017.  The program, entitled, “Fiduciary Challenges and Revenue Opportunities in Managing Investment Portfolio-Related Litigation as an Asset,” is presented by the ABA’s Institutional Investors Committee, a preeminent resource in the U.S. for legal, compliance and regulatory professionals, who represent pension plans and other institutional investors.

The program’s focus: “Investors have exposure to hundreds of securities and market fraud cases yielding billions of dollars in payouts globally. Often neglected by investors, these cases implicate risk given their management is outside most investors’ core competencies. We will explore opportunities to improve returns and minimize cost and risk in their management as an asset.”

The ABA's annual CLE meeting will be hosted at The Ritz-Carlton, Washington D.C. on November 17 - 18, 2017. Information on the ABA and its annual Business Law Section Fall Meeting can be accessed here.
