Cohen Milstein’s Kit A. Pierson “Ranked” by Chambers USA for Antitrust: Plaintiff
For the second year in a row, Chambers USA recognized Kit A. Pierson, Partner in Cohen Milstein's Antitrust practice, as a “Ranked” individual lawyer in Antitrust: Plaintiff (2020, 2021).
Mr. Pierson, a former-Co-Chair of Cohen Milstein’s Antitrust practice (2010-2017), is widely recognized as one of the top Antitrust litigators in the United States.
Under his leadership, Cohen Milstein successfully handled several precedent-setting cases, resulting in some of the largest Antitrust recoveries in U.S. history, including In re: Electronic Books Antitrust Litigation (N.D. Cal.), which resulted in a settlement for plaintiffs of more than $560 million, and In re Urethanes (Polyether Polyols) Antitrust Litigation (D. Kan.), where the jury returned a $400 million verdict for the plaintiffs, which was trebled under federal antitrust law to more than $1 billion, the largest verdict in the country in 2013, as reported by The National Law Journal.
