Cohen Milstein’s Kalpana Kotagal, a Partner in the firm’s Civil Rights & Employment practice will speak to public interest career counselors, pro bono program managers, and other public service career professionals from the law school and employer communities at the 2018 NALP Public Service Mini-Conference at the University of California Washington Center in Washington, D.C.

Ms. Kotagal will lead the plenary: “Diversity and Inclusion in the #MeToo Era,” addressing how the #MeToo movement highlights the prevalence of sexual assault and harassment, especially in the workplace, an issue significant to legal organizations and employees, including those who will be soon entering the legal profession, and how career counselors can address questions of law students and recent graduates. The plenary will also address how the #MeToo movement is changing the landscape of employment law and other areas of practice.
