“Chipotle Sued for Failing to Pay Employees Overtime,” The New York Post
June 07, 2017
Chipotle Mexican Grill is being hauled to court again — this time for allegedly not paying certain employees overtime.
The suit, filed in a NJ federal court, alleges that management trainees at the burrito chain were wrongly denied OT pay beginning on Dec. 1.
At issue is a federal rule — enacted in the waning weeks of the Obama administration — that mandates any non-manager making less than $47,476 a year get paid overtime.
Cohen Milstein Sellers & Toll PLLC represents the plaintiffs in this litigation.
