Islam Aly is a Fellow at Cohen Milstein, and a member of the firm’s Fellowship Program. In this role, Mr. Aly works on litigation matters spanning the firm’s antitrust, consumer protection, civil rights and employment litigation, human rights, and securities practice groups.

Mr. Aly received his B.A., with distinction, from University of Wisconsin and his J.D. from University of California Los Angeles School of Law, where he was Chief Managing Editor of the Journal of Islamic and Near Eastern Law and Co-Chair of the Muslim Law Students Association.

Prior to law school, Mr. Aly was a technology instructor focused on sound design, graphic design and web development for students of the Information Technology Academy-Tribal Technology Institute, a precollege program serving underrepresented minority communities.

Mr. Aly is fluent in Arabic and proficient in French.

Mr. Aly has applied for admission to the District of Columbia Bar and is currently working under the close supervision of the partners of the firm who are admitted to practice in the District of Columbia.
