Emmy Wydman is an associate in Cohen Milstein's Securities Litigation & Investor Protection practice, where she represents institutional and individual shareholders in derivative lawsuits and securities class actions.
Prior to joining Cohen Milstein, Ms. Wydman clerked for the Honorable R. Guy Cole Jr. of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
Ms. Wydman earned her B.A., magna cum laude, from The Ohio State University, and her J.D., cum laude, from Duke University School of Law, where she was the student body president, a member and championship finalist of the moot court board, and director of the reproductive justice and gender-based violence pro bono projects. Ms. Wydman was also a student attorney in the Appellate Litigation Clinic, achieving favorable results for pro bono clients in the federal courts of appeal.
Outside of law school, Ms. Wydman served as a voter protection fellow for federal and statewide campaigns, including Biden for President and the Democratic Parties of Georgia, Iowa, North Carolina, and Virginia.
Before pursuing law, Ms. Wydman worked at a diversified global insurer in new line acquisitions.
