A recall has been issued for approximately 3,799 Triumph motorcycles due to a manufacturing defect that can cause the turn signal stems on the front and rear of the motorcycle to fracture. The recall applies to certain 2012-2013 Daytona 675, Street Triple, Speed Triple and Tiger 800 motorcycles. If the stem fractures, the turn signal will not be visible to other vehicles on the road, increasing the risk of a vehicle crash.

This recall schedule has not been set, but once determined; dealers will inspect the motorcycle and perform the necessary service free of charge. Owners may contact Triumph directly at 1-678-854-2010. Additional details can also be found by referencing NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID Number: 13V104000.

Owners are encouraged to contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153) or go to www.safercar.gov with any questions or concerns surrounding these or any other recalls or safety campaigns.
