A recall has been issued for approximately 202,155 General Motor vehicles due to another ignition switch defect.  In certain 2002-2004 Saturn Vue vehicles, it may be possible for the key to be removed when the ignition is not in the "Off" position, increasing the possibility of a rollaway hazard.  This potential for rollaway can result in a crash and occupant or pedestrian injuries.

A recall schedule has not been set but once determined; dealers will inspect the vehicle and perform the necessary service free of charge.  Owners may contact Saturn directly at 1-800-553-6000 and reference safety recall no. 14506.  Additional details can also be found by referencing NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID Number: 14V490000.

Owners are encouraged to contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153) or go to www.safercar.gov with any questions or concerns surrounding these or any other recalls or safety campaigns.
