PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – On June 13, 2013, consumer justice attorney Leslie M. Kroeger, lectured to a statewide audience on Florida legislation enacted to protect children from bullying. The program was hosted during the Florida Justice Association Annual Convention in St. Petersburg, Fla. The presentation, “Catastrophic Damages: Emerging Litigations in Child Injury and Bullying Cases” provided an overview of state and federal bullying laws.
Ms. Kroeger, a shareholder at Leopold Law, P.A. is a successful civil trial attorney with a practice focused on complex civil litigation matters, including products liability, automotive crashworthiness, wrongful death and cases involving child catastrophic injuries. As a dedicated advocate in the capitol and the courtroom, Ms. Kroeger has been vocal in the Florida legislature lobbying on behalf of child safety issues. Her efforts to pass a booster seat bill in 2013 earned the firm a Distinguished Service Award for Community Service by the Traffic Safety Committee of the Palm Beaches today.
Ms. Kroeger currently serves on the Board of Directors of United for Families and is a member of the Executive Committee for the Florida Justice Association. She is also an active member of the American Association for Justice, the Palm Beach County Bar Association, the Martin County Bar Association, the Palm Beach County Justice Association, the Florida Association for Women Lawyers and the Florida Bar Professional Ethics Committee.
