A recall has been issued for approximately 18,871 Cadillac SRX vehicles, manufactured January 31, 2012 through March 18, 2013, and equipped with 18 inch wheels. The wheel lug nuts may loosen, posing a significant threat if the wheel separates while the vehicle is in operation. 

This recall was expected to begin on June 3, 2013. Dealers will inspect the vehicle and perform the necessary service free of charge.  Owners may contact GM directly at 1-800-521-7300 and reference safety recall no. 13116.
