The Human Rights Practice Group of Cohen Milstein seeks an Associate with three to five years of litigation experience to work on human rights litigation, preferably in our Florida office. Experience in tort litigation and trial experience are preferred. Our human rights litigation typically involves representing individuals who have been victims of torture, human trafficking, forced and slave labor, sexual violence, and other violations of international law.
Applicants must be able to: take a strong supporting role in discovery, including depositions, and at trial; research and write complaints and briefs; and supervise paralegals in litigation-related tasks, among other responsibilities. A strong academic background with excellent writing skills and analytic ability is also required, as is the ability to manage and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Cohen Milstein is an equal opportunity employer committed to promoting a diverse workplace. We strongly encourage women, people of color, and other candidates from under-represented backgrounds to apply.
