Cohen Milstein’s Washington, D.C. office has an opening for a Fellow in the Civil Rights & Employment Practice Group, which works to protect the rights of victims in civil rights and workplace law violations. The Fellowship is one year in duration for a recent law-school graduate with a start date in January 2020. 


The Civil Rights and Employment Fellow will be located in our Washington, DC office.


We seek recent law graduates and judicial clerks who share our commitment to performing the highest quality legal work to advance the public good.

Applicants should have strong academic credentials, superior analytical, research, writing, and verbal communication skills, and demonstrated experience working collaboratively. Applicants must be able to commit to one year of service to be considered. Applicants must be (1) admitted to the bar of a state, territory, or district of the United States; (2) awaiting exam results or admission after taking a bar exam; or (3) preparing to sit for the next available bar exam.

Compensation and Benefits

The Civil Rights and Employment Fellow will receive a salary of $75,000 annually and will be eligible to participate in the Firm’s full benefits package.
