Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. - Leslie M. Kroeger, a shareholder in the consumer justice law firm of Leopold Law, P.A., was elected to the Executive Committee of the Florida Justice Association. The election was held on June 18, 2011, in conjunction with the FJA Annual Convention at The Breakers in Palm Beach.
Over the last several years, Ms. Kroeger has been very active in promoting consumer and vehicle safety through her involvement with the Florida Justice Association (FJA). She has lobbied the Florida legislature, lectured statewide on the impact of crashworthiness legislation and recently published an article on the dangers of tire aging. In addition to being elected to the prestigious Executive Board, she was also honored with the Rough Riders award for legislative service and The Silver EAGLE award for exceptional leadership in fundraising. Both awards were presented at the Presidential Luncheon on June 17, 2011. Ms. Kroeger was also named Chair of the Women's Caucus division of the FJA last week, and will focus her leadership on consumer and community outreach.
Ms. Kroeger has an extensive career in handling complex civil litigation matters on a national level. Her practice is focused in the areas of product liability, automotive crashworthiness, wrongful death and cases involving complex managed care abuse.
