The Ninth Circuit has declined to take on an appeal from the Ultimate Fighting Championship challenging the class certification granted to a group of UFC fighters accusing the organization of repressing their wages to the tune of more than $1 billion.
The single-page order came down in the long-running litigation Wednesday and didn’t include any analysis, just a few sentences granting leave to file briefs and replies and a single line saying that “the petition for permission to appeal is denied.”
