Cohen Milstein Partner Carol Gilden and Jay Rehak, President of the Public School Teachers’ Pension and Retirement Fund of Chicago Board of Trustees, are to speak at the NCPERS 2016 Annual Conference & Exhibition this May in San Diego, CA. Ms. Gilden and Mr. Rehak will discuss the topic of "Using Antitrust Laws to Break Banks’ Pricey Stranglehold on the Financial Markets," which will outline how pension funds are now employing a powerful new tool, antitrust law claims, to fight large investment banks who maintain an anti-competitive stranglehold on important financial markets. Ms. Gilden and Mr. Rehak will provide fund staff and trustees with information on where these important cases stand—and what they can do to make sure their fund is doing everything it should to safeguard itself in this complex area.
