A New York federal judge on Friday granted final approval to Apple Inc.’s $450 million settlement with consumers over claims it conspired with publishers to raise e-book prices, a deal that includes a $30 million award for the plaintiffs’ lawyers.

Judge Denise Cote approved the settlement during a hearing in Manhattan court. Under the pact, consumers will receive $400 million. The class plaintiffs are represented by Kit Pierson of Cohen Milstein Sellers & Toll PLLC, and Steve Berman, Jeff Friedman and Shana Scarlett of Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro LLP.
